Prayers
For those who are not able to manage a home
Lord Jesus Christ,
you met people tormented by illness,
who could not manage, whose minds were in turmoil.
You restored them and gave them peace.
Look now with compassion
on all those who have no home
those who sleep under cardboard, paper, corrugated iron
those with no known address to claim from,
who cannot cope with life skills we take for granted.
Help us not to judge but to assist those,
for whom life has become overwhelming,
help us to treasure each person’s dignity,
and make it possible to accept help
For your name’s sake. Amen.
