Some Thoughts and Voices

From children...

"When I walked down our street to do litter-picking I thought it would take about half an hour. But there's load of rubbish you can't even really see until you start looking. Don't throw cigarette ends in the grass! They don't go away. Don't drop gum! Put your stuff in the bin."

"I was sad to learn about all the animals that are dying."

"I dumped all the treats I bought that I don't really need. It's wasteful and I could do something else with the money".

"The teacher said imagine the electric turned off. Put the light on. You can't. Put the kettle on. You can't. Watch TV. You can't. Play computer. You can't. Everything in the freezer will go off. Heating won't work. It'll be cold and dark and boring. That could be the future".

"I didn't know what I could change. I wanted to walk to school but it's too far and the roads are dangerous. So me and my friend are going to go in one car and I will walk to her house. That's safer and it helps a bit".
